Guilds

As they enter Kelsey Park, each student is automatically allocated to one of four Guilds and will stay with that Guild throughout their time at the College.

Each Guild is led by a Head of Guild who is supported by a non-teaching Guild Support Manager.

Each Guild is made up of 10 tutor groups and each tutor group is made up of up to 24 students from each of the 5 year groups.  This vertical structure provides support for younger boys and opportunities for older students to act as mentors and positive role models.

For further information about our Guild structure please follow link on the left.

Rewards for Students

Kelsey Park Sports College values the contribution that every student makes to our community. Our priority is to celebrate the achievements of all pupils, not just in the academic or sporting arenas but across all elements of their education. We recognise the importance of good attendance and punctuality, the need to respect the learning environment and the need to be well mannered and smart at all times.
A new innovation to reward our students' achievements is the Reward Token and Reward Cupboard, with the support of a grant to Kelsey and the support of a number of businesses who have provided various prizes.  Each week tutors are given ten gift tokens to distribute to those students they consider have displayed commitment, perseverance and a positive attitude to their school life. Each winner is called down to the reward cupboard on a Friday morning where they are allowed to select a prize, which include rugby balls, USB memory sticks, tickets to see Millwall play and free sessions at a local American Football club.
